The Business Factory Aeroprogramme is structured around a set of harmonised activities to respond to the milestones agreed in the Framework Agreement for each project. These activities are structured in three types: mentoring, training sessions and networkingevents.
In the last two editions, BFAero has focused its efforts on offering the projects a set of expert mentors in areas such as aeronautics, UAV regulations, intellectual property, business management and marketing, and on increasing the number of sessions for the benefit of the projects, reaching more than 157 in the fifth edition of the programme.
Proof of concept and financing
Mentoring is one of the activities of the training programme most valued by the entrepreneurs, both for the specialised knowledge it provides and for the access to strategic issues such as the possibility of carrying out a proof of concept with companies or validating a product with the needs of the market.
Another of the key factors for the future of projects is access to financing. In this line, it should be noted that the Business Factory Aero programme includes training for attracting funding from public and private entities, depending on the stage of maturity of each project.
Personalised training
The training sessions are adapted to the needs of each project, in accordance with the indications set out in the Framework Agreement signed between the entrepreneur and the accelerator when entering the programme.
Another of the characteristics is the markedly practical nature of the sessions, where specific situations are resolved for each project.
Finally, BFAero organises networking events dduring each edition in which all the entities of the entrepreneurship ecosystem participate.

Galicia is taking off in the aerospace, aeronautics and unmanned vehicles (UAVs) industry, after five editions of the Business Factory Aero , acceleration programme, promoted by the Xunta de Galicia and Civil UAVs Initiative (CUI).
The industrial footprint generated by the BFAero is reflected in three areas. Along with the creation of new companies, 46 in total since 2018, the programme has driven the consolidation of a benchmark operator in the sector, Aeromedia and, finally, it has led to the relocation to Galicia of the headquarters of startups such as Kreios Space and FuVex.
In addition to being the best accelerator in the Funcas 2024 global ranking, BFAero’s work has enabled the creation of a dynamic and fruitful innovation ecosystem.
This Galician aeronautical ecosystem has more than 55 entities that cooperate with the aim of responding to the needs of entrepreneurs in the aerospace, aeronautics and unmanned vehicles industry by weaving a network of collaboration for the promotion and scaling of disruptive technologies that solve the challenges of companies and society.
The collaboration of the entire ecosystem has also allowed entrepreneurs to access 31 potential customers or “early adopters” and 7 potential investors.

A dynamic business fabric
The business fabric around the BFAero venture is proof of the strength and dynamism of the aeronautical field, as together with the driving companies there are a significant number of companies in the sector, clients and project services.
Among the driving companies that have joined this ecosystem are Airbus, Avincis, Telespazio, UTE Aertec-Tecnobyte. Also worth mentioning is the involvement of companies in the sector such as: Ahyres, Primecor, Nordes Tech, UARX Space, Enercraf, Alén, Lupeon and Aerocámara.
Also strategic is the role of early adopters such as Cinfo,Gabadi, Hercules, Marina Meriodional which provide high value for entrepreneurship.
Finally, the ecosystem has a network of service companies that support projects in intellectual property, people management or technological development: Clark Modet, Implicatum, Vicus dt, Dixome, Silicon DT, GO! People & Talent.

Design and integration of precision mechanical structures for optical payloads and space systems.
What you will do
You will contribute to the design, analysis, and validation of advanced optical architectures for space telescopes and optical payloads.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Optical design and analysis of space telescope architectures • Wavefront error analysis and optical performance evaluation • Optical tolerancing and sensitivity analysis • Development of optical models and simulations • Support to optical testing and metrology activities • Collaboration with optomechanical engineers on system integration • Contribution to technical documentation and R&D proposals
What we are looking for
MSc in Optical Engineering, Physics, Photonics or related field • Solid understanding of optical systems and imaging optics • Experience with optical design software such as Zemax, Code V or similar • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good written and spoken English • Ability to document technical results in a clear, rigorous and structured way.
Experience in optical metrology, Python/Matlab for data analysis, precision optics or space instrumentation will be highly valued.

What you will do
You will contribute to the experimental integration and validation of optical technologies for space telescopes and advanced optical payloads.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Setup and operation of optical test benches • Optical alignment and laboratory integration • Optical metrology and measurement campaigns • Data acquisition and experimental data analysis • Documentation of test results • Support to prototype development and validation activities • Collaboration with optical and optomechanical engineering teams • Support to the preparation of R&D proposals, technical documentation, progress reports, and technical justification of funded projects.
