Funding

The selected companies will receive financial support throughout all stages of the program through a combination of non-repayable grants from IGAPE and venture capital instruments via Xesgalicia. Additionally, they will have access to a package of technological services for access to key infrastructure and professionals within the Galician aerospace ecosystem.
  • Incubation Phase: Non-repayable grant of €40,000 awarded by IGAPE.
  • Acceleration Phase: Up to €110,000 in total, consisting of a non-repayable grant of €60,000 (IGAPE) and up to €50,000 in participatory loans or direct equity investment (Xesgalicia).
  • Consolidation Phase: Up to €280,000 in total, comprising €30,000 in non-repayable grants (IGAPE) and up to €250,000 through equity investment or participatory loans (Xesgalicia).
  • Technology Services Package: Additional support managed by the CEL Foundation for contracting infrastructure at CIAR/INTA or specialized professional services in Galicia.

Access to investors

The collaboration of the entire BFAero ecosystem directly connects entrepreneurs with potential customers (“early adopters”) and 7 potential investors. The program adapts this support according to the project stage, facilitating everything from product validation in early phases to access to commercial clients and comprehensive preparation for funding rounds.
  • Potential customers (“early adopters”): BFAero facilitates access to strategic partners capable of validating project development (in incubation) and opens the door to multiple commercial clients (in acceleration and consolidation).
  • Access to investment panels: Preparation and direct connection of each project with an event or panel involving 7 potential investors.
  • Pitch support: Expert guidance and assistance both in preparing financial documentation and in preparing presentations to investors.
  • Access to more than 15 specialized investment funds: With investment theses in deep tech, space tech, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mobility, aerospace, defense, and dual-use technologies.

This ecosystem connects entrepreneurs with the market and investment opportunities, while also providing continuous strategic support to address both business and social challenges.
